Welcome To Our Ranch
NoName Ranch is owned and operated by Dawn and Bill Burden, with locations in Wynne-wood, OK and South Fork, CO. We have been involved in the equine industry for over 30 years and have been successfully involved in several aspects of the business including showing, racing, breeding, roping, fitting and conditioning for the largest Thoroughbred sales in the country.
Dawn started out competing in the Appaloosa and 4-H Youth programs, then continued in the Appaloosa, Paint and QH industries as a professional trainer, training numerous World, National, and High Point winners. She has also been an avid competitor in the Dressage events, training and working with race horses, and fitting and conditioning for major sales. Having worked with donkeys since the late 70’s, and riding other peoples mules, Dawn started to work with more mules after meeting Bill.
Bill started out working in the show and breeding industry, then took time out to get a degree in Criminal Law and establish a successful Private Investigative business. Missing his involvement with the equines, he started working with and helping friends out on ranches and learning the fine art of roping. He also developed a love and understanding of mules.
Dawn and Bill, together, have established a training and sales operation, concentrating on making quality saddle mules concentrating on the areas of trail riding, roping and ranch work. We also breed mules out of very well bred mares and sired by their own Jack, NoName’s Red Clay. We had our first babies entering the show world in 2005, with tremendous results.
We have been successful in putting on clinics and giving private lessons using a program they have devised for helping anywhere from the novice to the advanced mule owner in the areas of ground work, riding and purchasing a mule.NoName Ranch also raises All- Natural Beef, you can contact us for further details. We will be adding a division on our website for the All-Natural Beef in the future. We hope you enjoy our website…don’t be strangers.
